Problem
As the challenges designers face become more complex and interconnected, there is a growing need to broaden the traditional human-centered design approach with sustainability in mind. Inspired by IDEO cards, I was asked to create a set of cards and a matching box that overviews important sustainability principles. The design of the cards and box should be clean, professional, and be consistent across all cards.
Solution
I designed a cohesive set of sustainability cards and a matching box that communicate key sustainability principles in an accessible, visually engaging format. Each card was carefully crafted to maintain a professional look with consistent typography, layout, and visual language across the entire set.
The imagery provided on each card was color-graded to look cohesive as a unit. I incorporated earth tones onto the back side of each card, creating a smooth transition. The final design supports creative thinking while aligning with the broader goal of integrating sustainability into the design process.
